Acronis launches autonomous security suite for managed service providers

Acronis announced in Sofia a bundle of capabilities that should let managed service providers handle protection, infrastructure and intelligence from a single console without adding headcount. Exact pricing and availability were not disclosed.

The market for security solutions for MSPs is estimated at 41 to 45 billion dollars (about 150 to 165 billion shekels) and is growing at roughly 15% per year, according to Canalys, a prominent research firm. The segment is a key driver of the broader managed IT market. A global shortage of cyber-security experts forces small teams to maintain thousands of endpoints while AI-driven attacks become more destructive. The result is alert fatigue and a push toward consolidation: moving from dozens of separate tools to platforms that combine remote monitoring and management (RMM) with SecOps.

Acronis defines its approach in three vectors: building secure products with AI, embedding AI and intelligence into partners’ daily tools, and giving partners the ability to protect increasingly AI-Native customer environments. The new tools were unveiled at a press briefing in Sofia, Bulgaria, and are built on products the company released in recent months.

The package includes four main components. The first is the Cyber Console, an AI-based single environment that gives IT staff, business teams and AI agents access to protection, automation and infrastructure. The second is a Cyber Intelligence layer that provides visibility into endpoint security, activity and customer contracts. The third is an automated Service Desk that handles tickets without manual intervention. The fourth is Cyber Studio, a workspace for building deterministic workflows and controlling AI agents.

Cyber Frame, launched in May, now adds migration workflows. The aim is to let partners move workloads from VMware and Microsoft Azure environments to Cyber Frame, whether in the cloud or on-premises. Acronis says the capability gives MSPs and cloud providers a choice between the company’s cloud solution and a local solution from a partner.
