SevenRooms' ElevenLabs voice agent handles 400 thousand calls, lifts reservation volume 25 percent

The restaurant-management platform SevenRooms, now owned by DoorDash, is running ElevenLabs' ElevenAgents product under the brand SevenRooms Voice AI to answer phones instantly. The system has handled over 400 thousand calls to date and helped restaurants generate up to 25 percent more bookings. It identifies repeat guests and manages the reservation board around the clock.

Each venue's own rules — time-slot limits, party-size caps, deposit policies — are encoded into the agent. The stated goal is to free floor staff to focus on in-house service. Since the phone call is often a guest's first interaction, the bar the system aims to clear is that every conversation sounds attentive, natural and useful.

The service is currently deployed at more than 600 venues, with a plan to add hundreds more locations by year-end. The source did not disclose performance metrics such as intent-recognition accuracy or human-handoff rates, nor did it publish per-venue implementation costs or per-minute operating costs for the agent.
